Together & Man Yong Toh
Long-time friend, creative strategist, innovator and eco-activist Man Yong Toh worked over the past decades for clients like Heineken, Apple / Beats by Dre, Google and Nike. Lately Toh has been focussing all his energy into making this world a better place by pushing his strategic thinking into the innovation side of business with startups like Aeroborn and Ryberg. He has been stirring up our curiosity on this highly interesting forefront of innovation and sustainability startups and projects, so we’re delighted to see his Foretaste!

Speed & Scale by John Doerr is a must-read for all climate actionists. And I guess everyone needs to be a climate actionist nowadays. So its a must-read for everyone.
This Idea Must Die by John Brockman is a great collection of ideas that challenge scientific conventions. A healthy bunch of contrarian perspectives.
Currently Watching
I recently saw Nine Days. It poses the question: "Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it?" and asks it honestly. Essential viewing.
The Great is a true gem of a series. The humour, the brilliance, the madnesses. It’s so addictively well-written. I have never laughed so much at a show.
Currently listening
It’s hard to keep up with all the new music coming out, but I take in what I can. Currently Bruxas, Honne and Freddie Gibbs top my most played on Spotify.
Currently eating
Anything from Yotam Ottolenghi. He delivers brilliant, deliciously simple recipes for home cooking. Creative but also practical to make.
Currently drinking
Most of the time just water, and sometimes a Negroni.
Currently obsessed about
Creating access to great education for everyone. Something I’m quite passionate about.
Currently distracted by
Not much. Lot’s to do. I’m keeping focussed.
Sometimes Headspace helps in the decluttering.
Currently trying to avoid
I’m trying to avoid being lazy and not exercising enough. I’ve recently gotten into cycling and yoga and am trying to integrate that into my daily regime. So far so good.
Currently frightened by
I’m frightened and concerned by our lack of action in climate change. I’d like to see us prevent more GHG-emissions, and to prepare for the eventuality that we don’t succeed. (And as the Russian invasion of Ukraine started after writing this, that’s now even a more frightening thing…)
Currently transcended by
I’ve got 2 kids and its so amazing to be able to live vicariously through their experiences. There is always adventure, discovery and hilarity to tap into.
Currently fulfilled with
The opportunity to do good things at scale.
